چکیده

In bio-refinery and other catalytic reactions, heterogeneous catalysts confer advantage over homogenous due to minimized recovery separation costs. However, templating surfactant solid support for the synthesis of ought consider their cheap sources environmentally friendliness sustainable use. Thus, with vision make process significantly benign, in present work, acids were synthesised from renewable (castor oil as rice husk source silica). The castor oil-templated mesoporous sulfonic acid modified (SO3H-MTS SO3H-MT-RHS) characterised evaluated esterification acetic (C2), hexanoic (C6), lauric (C12), palmitic (C16), ricinoleic (C18) butanol at 110 °C. Physicochemical properties materials by nitrogen porosimetry, X-ray powder diffraction, thermogravimetry, Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), Diffuse Reflectance Infrared Fourier Transform (DRIFTS). porosimetric analysis revealed a type IV adsorption-desorption isotherm reminiscent structures. surface area decreased upon functionalisation group. DRIFTS XPS confirmed attachment functional group on materials. Evaluation performance synthesized was determined through carboxylic conversions using gas chromatographic technique. SO3H-MTS gave higher compared SO3H-MT-RHS. sulfated showed good activity conversion ranging 96-37% C2-C18 °C within 6 h. Such sulphated can therefore be applied biodiesel production optimisation.

Synthesis, characterisation and catalytic properties of vanadium substituted mesoporous aluminophosphates

Vanadium substituted mesoporous AlPO have been synthesised using structure-directing surfactant under hydrothermal synthesis conditions. The presence of V in the framework of AlPO has been established by ESR, XPS, UV–vis DRS and ICP-AES measurements. This system is capable of promoting the oxidation of toluene to aldehyde and benzoic acid when the oxidising agent is 70% tert-butyl hydroperoxide...

Solvent-washable polymer templated synthesis of mesoporous materials and solid-acid nanocatalysts in one-pot.

We report a new and simple one-pot synthetic method to produce mesoporous silica and nanoporous solid acid catalyst capable of catalyzing pinacole-pinacolone rearrangement and esterification reactions, by preparing a solvent washable phosphonated triblock copolymer template and self-assembling it in the presence of alkoxysilane.

New pyrazolone derivatives synthesis: comparison of the catalytic effect of three typically different Brønsted acid catalysts on the reaction progression

Via the one-pot condensation reaction of ethyl acetoacetate, aromatic aldehydes, 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine, and β-naphthol; new pyrazolone derivatives were synthesized in the presence of three Brønsted acid catalysts. These Brønsted acid catalysts are Silica sulfuric acid (SSA), tetra-n-butyl ammonium hydrogen sulfate (TBAHSO4) and [2,2′-Bipyridine]-1,1′-diium tricyanomethanide {[2,2′-BPyH][C(...
